Newtonian Physics
Newtonian Mechanics Applied to Archery
From the moment an arrow begins to accelerate until it reaches the target, its motion is governed by physics.
This series applies Newtonian mechanics to real-world archery using real bows, real arrows, real measurements, and real testing.
We’ll follow the arrow from acceleration → flight → impact → penetration, using Newton’s Three Laws of Motion, the Work-Energy Theorem, and the Impulse-Momentum Theorem to explain what is actually happening.
